Our Story
The Stone Church Munich is part of a growing global family of churches established through the vision and ministry of Word Alive Ministries International.
The journey began on April 23rd, 1993, at the Omega Conference Centre, Favos Building, New Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, where the inaugural gathering of the church was held. Regular Sunday services began shortly after on April 24th, 1993.
Over the years, what started as a single gathering has grown into a global ministry with more than fifty-three (53) locations across four continents. The headquarters of the ministry later moved to its permanent site in Mokola, Ibadan, and the church has continued to establish branches across Nigeria and around the world.
Today, The Stone Church Munich stands as part of this continuing work—committed to revealing Jesus Christ, the Living Stone, and raising people grounded in God’s Word, prayer, community, and the Kingdom of God.
